OBJECTIVE:
The design challenge was to create an integrated 5 stars resort development which located in remoted island.
DESIGN HIGHLIGHTS:
Inspired from the island life, “Bare Foot Luxury” was implemented by the materials selections, such as open pore wood, rattan, bamboo and local stones.
From the traditional Javanese architecture named “Gladak house“, A contemporary colonial elements are reflected by the white walls, wood profiles, and furnishing details and blue colors pillows as the ocean element.
