OBJECTIVE:
The challenge was to design residential cluster on a sloping land.
DESIGN HIGHLIGHTS:
Canggu, is one of Bali’s prime locations. Offers stunning rice fields view. Responding the land shape and orientation, the architectural approach is to accommodate nature as the main value.
The architectural design concept itself is a contemporary monumental shape among the nature. To honor the local spirit, inspired from traditional bamboo woven shape are placed as the architectural feature.
On the main entrance, guests are welcomed by a reflecting pond and swimming pool. Pivot doors are used to define the lounge area.
Cement floors, wooden floor, a floating sofa, simple shaped furnitures are arranged to enhance the nature as the main focus.
