OBJECTIVE:
Situated in Champlung Tanduk street and surrounded by shops and nightlife arenas. The task was to design a 3 star hotel with 56 units, sits on 1000 m2 land.
DESIGN HIGHLIGHTS:
Since the space are limited, the design challenge was to design a compact room that can accommodate the guest needs. By incorporating Balinese elements and modern forms.
The materials selection itself uses low cost, sustainable materials, yet still can be developed to form aesthetic value. On the reception and breakfast area .The decorated ceiling is using moulded gypsum and balinese special gold paint. It uses to reflect the lights and as a unique featured ceilings.
At the rooftop bar, used beer Bintang bottles are installed as a wall feature. And also has a function as the general lighting.
